What's included in this bundle
Each of the steps below is a full sub-service. In this bundle, Sevantay handles every one of them for you — in the right sequence.
Chassis imprint
Physical chassis pencil imprint taken as required for RC transfer — our partner comes to the vehicle.
Form 29 / Form 30 preparation
Correctly filled Form 29 (notice of transfer) and Form 30 (report of transfer) with both parties' signatures.

Bangalore-specific notes
Bangalore has multiple sub-RTOs — Koramangala (KA-03), Indiranagar (KA-05), Jayanagar (KA-41), Electronic City (KA-51), Yelahanka, Marathahalli and others — and the correct jurisdiction depends on the buyer's residential address. Karnataka uses the Vahan/Sarathi central systems so application status is trackable online. Surendra N S, one of our verified RTO partners, specialises in South Bangalore sub-RTOs (Electronic City, HSR, Jayanagar) which covers the majority of used-vehicle transfer volume in the city.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a car RC transfer cost in Karnataka?
Karnataka RTO RC transfer fees are typically ₹500–₹1,500 for four-wheelers (plus smart card and hypothecation closure charges if applicable). Sevantay's end-to-end service fee is separate — you see both lines in the written quote.
Do I need to visit the RTO at all?
Generally no. The chassis imprint happens at your vehicle's location and all subsequent steps are handled by our partner. In rare cases (e.g. biometric mismatch flagged by the RTO) the buyer may need to visit once.
What if the seller has a pending loan on the car?
The loan must be cleared and a formal NOC obtained from the lender before hypothecation can be closed and the vehicle transferred. Sevantay coordinates with the lender directly to speed this up.
Is this different from "name transfer" I see elsewhere?
No — RC transfer and vehicle name transfer are the same thing. The formal term is "transfer of ownership" under Section 50 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
Does the new RC come with my address?
Yes. The new smart-card RC reflects the buyer's current address (proof required). If the buyer's address is outside Karnataka, this is a full inter-state transfer and takes longer.
Can you handle two-wheeler transfers too?
Yes — two-wheeler ownership transfers follow the same workflow. Costs are slightly lower due to smaller RTO fees.
