Your documents are safe with Sevantay

We know your Sale Deed, EC, Aadhaar and PAN are sensitive. Here is exactly how we protect them — in plain language, no jargon.

Encrypted, always

Every document you upload is encrypted with AES-256 while stored, and sent over a secure HTTPS/TLS connection. Plain, unencrypted access is blocked at the storage level.

ID numbers handled with extra care

When our AI reads a document to auto-fill your form, it reads only your name and address — never your Aadhaar, PAN or passport number. If a service requires you to enter an ID number, it is encrypted and shown to our team only in masked form (e.g. last 4 digits). The image used for auto-fill is processed in memory and never saved.

Auto-deleted

Your uploaded documents are permanently and automatically deleted within 60 days — and we remove them sooner once your job is complete. We do not hoard your documents.

Private by default

There are no public links to your files. Only you, the verified operator assigned to your job, and our secured system can access them — each through a short-lived, single-use secure link.

AI that respects your privacy

Our AI reads your document only to save you typing. The AI provider does not use your documents to train its models. We send only the few pages needed, downscaled.

Bank-grade infrastructure

Sevantay runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) — infrastructure that is independently certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2, the same class of platform used by banks and fintechs.

Your rights & our commitments

  • ✓ You stay in control. You can ask us to delete your uploaded documents at any time — just contact us and we will remove them.
  • ✓ Purpose-limited. We use your documents only to complete the specific service you requested — never for anything else, and we never sell your data.
  • ✓ Minimal by design. We collect only what the job needs, keep it only as long as needed, and delete it automatically.
  • ✓ India-aligned. We follow the principles of India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 — consent, purpose limitation, data minimisation and your right to erasure.
